Reviewing and Closing Requests
Once responses have been submitted, the auditor will review each item and update its status. This is a key checkpoint in finalizing your audit deliverables and ensuring that evidence meets expectations.
- After submission, the auditor will update the request status:
- Accepted – Evidence is approved.
- Returned – Additional info or clarification is needed.
This stage ensures that all requests are either resolved or escalated as needed, and keeps both sides accountable for closure.
Best Practice: Schedule Live Reviews
- Within five days of submitting responses, schedule a review meeting.
- This helps resolve any issues in real time and avoids unnecessary delays.
Managing auditor requests effectively ensures a smoother audit experience. By using Trustero’s Requests feature and establishing strong communication practices, you can keep your audit on schedule, improve internal accountability, and demonstrate compliance readiness.
